Our Mission Statement

At Lyminge Church of England primary we celebrate and value every individual; we work as a community joined by a common desire for continuous improvement and excellence and achieve this by being accountable leaders of good practice.

We aim to

  • Be respectful of all others  and committed to our strong Christian ethos in an atmosphere of mutual care and respect, celebrating the uniqueness of every individual (individual liberty)
  • Celebrate achievement and diversity in all (mutual respect and tolerance)
  • Commit to lifelong learning, promoted by curiosity, independence and enjoyment
  • Aspire with passion, to be the best we can
  • Work as a community, united by common value (rule of law) and hear the voice of every individual (democracy)

As a Christian school, we worked together as a team involving, pupils, staff, governors and parents to choose the following six Christian values representative of our Church of England school.
